frankly, im superb lazy to edit the pictures as i need to choose 'a few' from the zillions of pictures that i took. Well, the quality of the pictures are not really good cause i set the wrong ISO. argh... whatever it is, i will get myself a BETTER camera when i have $$ in hand. oops. Waiting to grab some pictures from steven as i forgot to charge my battery for 2nd day tour =( well, special thanks to Isaac and his friend, Micheal for planning this trip after our hectic and stressful finals.
Day 1:1 May 2010
First and foremost, Happy Labour Day for those who are working!!! lolZ...
Woke up around 6am something, repacked my super duper a lot and HUGE luggage. Bidding goodbye to my 2nd year comfy room (i say this as i spent most of my time ere beside attending classes). Went to Lembaran Cafe around 6.55am and dropped my key in front of the Jaya office while waiting for others =)
Isaac, James, ME, Steven and Siew Hwa head off from our campus to Butterworth ferry terminal-bus station at 7am. We used taxi as the earliest bus from the nearest town to Butterworth is 8.15am. We reached Butterworth around 7.40am and we managed to get on the bus to Alor Star at 8am. Guess what, FIVE of us sat at the very LAST row wif Isaac at the center. LolZ... It costed Rm9.80 per person. We stopped at Pekan Rabu and waited the bus to Kuala Kedah around 9.30am. Well, it's a very very OLD bus without air conditioner. Frankly, i only sat on my hometown bus ONCE when im in Form 4 where my mom was sick at that time and unable to fetch my sis n me from school. The bus is way much BETTER than this one. Gosh. Nevertheless, get to see and think lotsa things when sat on this kind of bus. You can imagine how peaceful and joyful of this rural area life.
We reached the Kuala Kedah jetty almost 10am and went to a mamak stall cause most of us are craving for food. Who knows, only left the roti telur, roti kosong and the rice wif some dishes left. Luckily Siew Hwa and Isaac went to find other shop and we had our breakfast there. We used 10.30am Ferry to Langkawi and guess what, Isaac sat on the FIRST row and 4 of us sat on the SECOND row. wow.. It's super a lot people going to Langkawi as it's a public holiday marrrrr.... Lurve this kind of shot... Feeling super excited as this is my FIRST TIME going to Langkawi.Took this on the way to Langkawi. Do you know what is this??? Anyone???The lito kid that sat behind of me....Lurve her smiley balloon...lol... guess they kinda excited too =) James n Steven Time to say a loud HELLO to Langkawi...
Once reached, we went to find Isaac's friend, Micheal at the Starbucks. Micheal brought us to buy some stuffs and i discover that CHOCOLATE is at EVERYWHERE and EVERY CORNER. OMG!!! -Choco Heaven- This is my FAVOURITE >.< Who wants HUGE lollipop??? Not forgetting....LIQUOR, WINE n etc.... It's everywhere!!! Langkawi=Duty Free marrrrr....... The place that we're going to stay for this trip. It's situated at the Cenang Beach area. Siew Hwa and my room.... After putting our stuffs, we went to McD for our lunch. Not forgetting taking picture wif this smiley guy.... hahaZ... Nice design at the center of the shopping mall....
After lunch, we headed off to Oriental Village where the Cable Car located.... Oriental Village... The Cable Car: RM15 for adult, RM5 for Children. That day itself we bought for RM14 =) the gal wif the snake...ewww..... Nice scenery in the Oriental Village.. Super duper a lot people on that day. Super a lot of tourists... From China, Thailand and not forgetting the ang mohssss.....
DO's n DONT's woot.... kids, this is cable car...lolZ... me, siew hwa n isaac....hahaZ... siew hwa n james have height phobia....lolZ... too bad i didnt take nice shot of the cable =( SMILE.....
The middle station:Group Photo~~ conquer the FEAR and we went to the top station..
After that, we walked down towards the curve suspension sky-bridge at the Gunung Machinchang. For more info, click HERE. You can try google search bout this too. Well, im really AMAZED wif the design. Kept on asking how they build the cable car and the sky-bridge. As a future engineer, i really dont know whether i will/can product such brilliant designs or not in future. But, there's a lesson that i learnt, we MUST trust to the designer and those who build all the building or whatsoever sky scrapers in this world. meminang atas langit??? anyone???
Dinner Time~~the fish that cost us RM40~~~fried sotong~~ 'nai yu sia' fried baby kailanlast but not least, the alcoholic drink. Never tried this b4. Intro by Isaac. It tasted like a fruit juice. Not bitter at all tho it's 5% of alcohol. This is Blueberry Flavour which cost me RM5.50.
