Back from Committee Planning Retreat and it's the MOST relaxing among 4 i'd attended before. Thanks to everything and it's time to strive something that is one of the missing piece in my puzzle life. It's FINALs again~~~ and i MISS home....

Holiday mood started to strike us on thursday night (2/9) as we (material engineering student) do not have class on friday ^^ So, had an outing with my ji muis (Jia Yee, Shiaw Mei, Kenny and Isaac) on that night. Went to subway-autocity as my friends are super duper nice as they knew i couldnt take any nice or hard food once i put on my braces. This is my first time trying subway and frankly, itz super duper nice lar....

Well, there is daily promotion and we had Turkey Ham for RM7.50 on that day. If the daily promo doesn't convince you, here are some foodie that you can choose from.

There are few steps to order your yummy foodie....

1. Choose your sub. You can choose either Classics, Basics, Hot Sub or Local Favourites. Since im choosing promo foodie that day, i skipped this step.

2. Choose your bread. There are 5 bread you can choose from; Italian, wheat, honey oat, parmesan oregano and hearty italian. I chose honey oat ^^

3. Choose the size of bread that you want; either 6-inch or foot long. I chose 6-inch (cause promo only have 6-inch).

4. Select types of cheese and vege that you wanted to add on.

6. Then select the add-on; drinks/ cookies to complete your meal and before you pay the bill ^^

After had our Subway, we went for a drink at winter warmers, which is just few steps beside subway autocity. Had a nice chat session with soothing environment. It's a very nice place for gathering but not recommended for those who tend to talk with high tone (eg. ME!!!). lolz....

Final Exam of Sem 5!!!!

OMG.... study week is just 4 days from now (and meaning im gonna say BYE BYE to my sem 5 soon).... my study pace is super duper SLOW... T.T I need some inspiration and motivation peeps.... Wish me luck ya.... and i pray and wish all those who are having finals------> ALL THE BEST!!!! CPR this weekend and im away to Penang Island once again.... take care peeps.... Back to nerd, restless, sleepless, extra more food intake life once again...

Just lito updates...

Seriously, been skipping class for the 3rd day already. Slept at 5am this 3 days. Not i don't want to sleep, just that i cant sleep when it's time for bed. Insomnia???!! Could be.... But high possibility goes to final exam syndrome... arghhh....

Ate kfc with Andre, James, Isaac, Grace, Chuang Ki, Hooi Keng and Kheng Swee. Waited and lined up for super duper long. Somehow, i just couldn't understand why human likes to cut line =.= I shouldn't curse you (since im a bad good gal).

At that moment, really don't feel to order my food. Thanks to the friendly gal at the counter that smile to me. This is the conversation i had with her after i paid the bill:

Me: Terima kasih (Thank You)
Gal: Sama-sama (Welcome). Datang lagi (Please come again) PLUS A BIG BIG SMILE.....
Me: Okie. Bye!! *Smile*

Okay... Once i said that, everyone looked at me. Am i that LOUD??? Whatever~~~ Most important is that i super duper LIKE that gal and i super duper DONT LIKE the gal that cut my line.

Had a good chat with others while trying to finish my foodie bite by bite... okay.... Used my precious finger to make the fried chicken into small small pieces and throw away the skin =(

Alone in hostel during Raya Break, but i had a wonderful night with Wei Way. We had a 5 hours dinner on 10/9~~

Nothing much to say. Had a romantic candle light dinner at shunka, bi bla bi bla for 4 hours plus and wonderful green tea ice cream before we left. Hehe...

Dental Braces-7th day

Wondering why i seldom talking on every detail of my life nowadays...No time to crap much =(

My foodie range changes kinda fast recently...

From Porridge that i always takeaway from my uni cafe...where the aunty treat me FREE PORRIDGE TWICE as she forgot to use low temperature when heating up the porridge lead to smoky porridge...

 To healthy oat...

 and to half boiled egg....

 and finally i had a proper meal on the 7th day ^^ Vege at last!!!!

Had a Bible Quiz just now and CONGRATZ once again to Goodness CG for winning the quiz. Had a burfday celebration for CF October Babies~~~and i ate 2 slices of the cake...yummy...

oh ya, daddy called..... told me my nephew started to walk. Cant wait to go back and play hide and seek with him!!! Miss home le.... 

7th day~~

My braces treat me pretty nice.... Doesn't feel the pain at all. Hope i can wait and see the final result with patience heart. Face acne condition doing a great job too. Almost a year effort does pay off. Take care peeps... ^^ God Bless you all...

Dental Braces-Special Toothbrush...

Here are the special gadgets that i own NOW!!!! and for sure, itz not free. 

1. Travel toothbrush or you can call it special toothpick

• In case you are out for meal and it happen that something stuck in between your teeth, this gadget is super duper convenient for you. It's small and light plus it has a cover to close the brush part in order to maintain hygiene. 

2. Wax (Soft rubber)

• Wax normally put in the end of the arc wire where it might cut the soft tissue. It's a bit like plasticine, can be deformed as you like. 

3. Oral B Interdental Kit

• This kit enable you to brush your teeth that's trap behind the wire. Some little tiny space can be reach by this kit and it's so convenient as it's in L-shape.

4. Oral B Ortho Brush

• Space in the middle enable you to brush through the braces easily and without worries. It's soft and doesnt't hurt your gum.

5. Greenzhi Toothgel

• Recommended by the receptionist. So far feeling okay when using it. Can consider to get one if you are facing tooth or gum ache.Spotted the description bout this toothpaste. Noticed that it's one of the product of Nanotechnology research.

Dental Braces-and it's PINK!!!

13 October 2010-Kinda of one of my BIG DAY-the day my teeth gonna transform from ugly situation to a better one....

The morning itself i didn't take my breakfast. Accompanied by Ernest and Damian, we headed to Gurney, Penang for McD!! Had my Spicy Chicken McDeluxe and waited the long que outside Sushi King for our 2nd round. Haha.. Had 18 plates and we shared a table with a couple =.= Didn't get to enjoy much unagi and salmon =(

Then, headed to the Smile R Us Dental Clinic. Greeted by the receptionist, she asked me to read on some article bout the Dos n Don'ts during the braces period. Lucky me, i have a bunch of experienced friends to guide me through for this whole process. Then waited for my turn.

Soon, the assistant called my name. The clinic started become kinda creepy cause quiet, but luckily i have 2 friends accompany me on that day. When i entered, the assistant asked me to choose the colour for the rubber that  attached to the brackets. There are lotsa colours that you can choose from-which i choose dark pink.

This is my first visitation for putting on the braces. This process is mainly to enabled your teeth to have some gap and the teeth will arrange in a straight line. Most people said i took around 6 months to see the result so im waiting for it ^^

Informed the ortho that my gum is in pain for almost 2 weeks but then he said that's one of the process and it's recovering. So, i did not bother bout it. He then helped to check my teeth condition, the gum, the brackets (ring) before the polishing process.

After that, some sort of 'glue' apply on my teeth before brackets are placed on each tooth. The assistant then used one machine-blue ray to dry up the 'glue'. A wire is put in the middle of the brackets and the rubber is used to fix the wire in the position. He then cut the excess wire and checked my teeth before saying a goodbye. Basically, i didn't feel ANY PAIN during the whole process. You dont even know it's done unless the ortho told you.

Then, the receptionist brief me through bout braces once again and taught me how to take care and brush my teeth. Bought special toothbrushs and toothpaste. Too bad i cant upload the picture (stupid uni line). Will post bout it in the next post....

HahaZZ... Im trying to adapt with the braces on life now. Trying my best to give the sweetest smile. Feeling myself like 'Ugly Betty'.....and im happily capture the teeth condition as much as i can... ^^

SUKAD~~

SUKAD stands for "Sukan Antara Desasiwa"- Sports Among Hostel. I joined my hostel's (actually not my hostel also) for badminton match. Im not those amateur or professional player. I just used to play among my friends when i have a free time and prefer plus comfortable wif doubles. Somehow, they asked me to play single instead of double during the competition.

Basically, i rushed to sit on the 6pm bus to USM Main Campus on Friday (8/10) where before that i had an interview. Oh well, did pretty bad during the interview. Dont know how and what to answer. What i answered like totally shit hole man. Guess i need to learn more on answering interview question skills. The interviewers also late in the morning. Supposed to have a briefing after registration at 10.30am and somehow the interviewers genius enough and reached at 11.30am. The thing that they said they only allow 9 people to be interviewed for the morning session and continue again at 2.30pm really make me a bit wanna to let go this interview. What a huge time gap. Morever, no sponsor for the trip to Japan plus no sponsor for the living cost in Japan. Me, JC and IZ went for brunch after that and headed for prayer meet at 12.45pm. The headed back for the interview session. and guess what...... Our name is among those behind the list and 3 of us are in the same group (2nd last). Frankly, both of them really did a good job and answered pretty good. Just that somehow one of the interviewer asked bout who is our Yang Di-Pertuan Agong and Vice Counselor name-somehow we didnt answer the full name and the interviewer said 'We're not going to send you to Japan'. WTH. NONSENSE lar..Make people super duper emo.. 

Back to Sukad. Reached campus around 7.30pm with Siew Hwa and met other teammates that reached earlier at the hostel. We're staying at 'Desasiswa Suajana' and that hostel looks really clean. How i wish my room is exactly the same as the room in that hostel. Clean and huge~~ 

Headed to the cafe wif Siew Hwa and had our late dinner there. Luckily i bought sandwinch earlier before i depart. Had Bee Hoon Soup plus Chicken wif a bottle of orange juice.

Chatted wif Siew Hwa while waiting to meet up wif Yi Wern and my bro in Camp Cam- Zhi Lin around 10pm. Zhi Lin intro me bout the famous burger stall-Mamu Burger..

Zhi Lin treated me Daging Special and seriously this is way yummy compared wif the burger stall in the lembaran cafe in engineering campus. Ordered one carrot-orange juice too...

Back room around 12am sth and had a good rest. Saw a very nice mural painting and so-called sign board at the hostel..

Woke up at 7am the next day and headed to the badminton court before 8am. Super duper early lar.... Everyone like super energetic for the match. 

Preparing to go out. Wearing our team's t-shirt and it's purple!!!

In order to get into quarter final, our team need to get either champion or 1st runner up in the preliminary group match. Our group manage to win all 3 matches with 2-1 score for all the matches. Had our quarter final match in the noon where i got to give support to my teammate (im not playing for quarter..hehe...). Too bad we lost in quarter final. All my teammates did a very good job ^^ Without them, our team unable to reach quarter final too. Frankly, the feeling when you are practicing and the feeling during the competition is totally different. During the competition, i did super duper a lot of mistakes but thanks to all my teammates that are there to support me. First time playing badminton in such a huge crowd.

Well, i really gain lotsa experiences through this competition. Ate my lunch using my bare hand-how i miss my Form 6 life during camp....

Back room, had a quick shower and CC fetched both me and siew hwa to USM Sg Dua Gate. Both of us walked to nearby KFC and had our dinner around 7pm sth. Around 8pm, we asked the people around bout how to get to the Sg Nibong Bus Station. Thanks to a malay gal that is super duper nice and told us which bus to sit on. Reached Sg Nibong Bus Station safely and used 9.30pm bus back campus. 

For your info, there's a bus that will stop RIGHT IN FRONT of the USM Engineering Campus. Buy your ticket from KKKL counter in Sg. Nibong Bus Station. Only 1 bus-9.30pm and it cost RM9. You can use rapid Penang from Sg. Dua to Sg. Nibong by paying RM1.40 ^^
