HK & Macau Itinerary Day 2 [Lai Chi Kok Park, Dialogue in the Dark, Sky 100]

Day TWO of our trip. First thing we did was 'MAKAN'. Thanks to smartphone apps, we were able to find a 'recommended' place for breakfast- which is Michelin-starred Dim Sum!!! As usual, the menu is in Chinese language AGAIN!!! Seriously, without translation from my friends, I will just randomly pick my meals based on the pictures during my trip. Personally, I think that people woke up pretty early for Dim Sum in Hong Kong and the waiter/ waitress were chasing over time because everything they did MUST BE FAST & QUICK!!!

After breakfast, we went for Dialogue In The Dark (DID). We traveled from Mongkok station to Mei Foo station using Tsuen Wan line.

You will see Lai Chi Kok Park when you exit from Mei Foo station.

A: Mei Foo station. B: Shop 215, 2/F, The Household Centre, Nob Hill, 8 King Lai Path, Mei Foo, Kowloon (coordinate: 2991 4342).

We strolled around Lai Chi Kok Park as we had additional 1 hour before the session start.

Here is some of the DID exhibition. You are not allowed to bring anything during your tour besides HKD. There are lockers provided to put your stuffs. Remember to purchase your ticket online or make a reservation in case you want the tour conduct in English/ Mandarin. You can log on to DID website to know more about DID mission/ vision, programs, ticket bookings or location of DID in HK.

After DID, we had a tea break in the mall.

We back to Kowloon area again for Sky100. From Mei Foo station, we traveled to Nam Cheong station then interchanged line to Kowloon station. It's cheaper using Mei Foo-Nam Cheong-Kowloon route instead of Mei-Foo-Lai King-Kowloon route. You can calculate the journey rate HERE.

We passed 'Elements' and the Arch when we walked to Sky100 from Kowloon station. I think I lost weight during my trip. We didn't visit the observation deck due to bad weather (foggy) we were unable to snap nice picture too even we reach the 100th floor.

Kowloon station-Elements-Sky100. Madness~~

After Sky100, we walked to West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade. Yeah, we WALKED!!! You can rent a bicycle if you feel too heavy to walk.
